Review Tour - The Player By K. Bromberg
Release Day – April 17, 2017
Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.
Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.
So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

About the Author
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.
A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow.
Since publishing her first book in 2013, K. has sold over one million copies of her books and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over twenty-five times.
In April, she’ll release The Player, the first in a two-book sports romance series (The Catch, book 2, will be released late June), with many more already outlined and ready to be written.

I'm a fan of K. Bromberg's books and have read them all. When I saw this was coming I was super excited. It didn't disappoint.
This author has taken on the racing world in the past and now it's the time for some baseball. I'm from the UK and, I'm sorry but I've got to say I'm not a fan of football, but I do like baseball so I was pleased about that, lol. To be honest though, even if you weren't a sports fan, I don't think you'd have problems with this. The story is not overtaken by the sports, even though it does centre around it.
This story centres around Easton Wylder, a legend in baseball, he's been out due to injury and needs to, literally, get back into the game. Enter Scout Dalton, physical therapist extraordinaire. Easton was a expecting a guy and some fun ensued when Scout turned up instead. They work together to get Easton back to fitness but possibly didn't expect the attraction that sprang up between them.
I loved both characters a lot. Scout is strong and sassy and has her head screwed on. Easton is funny with a perfect combination of alpha maleness but also sweetness that maybe shouldn't work, but here it does.
The book is very well written and I loved the dynamic between Scout and Easton. They definitely had some major chemistry going on there.
This book is the first part of a duet and, as such, is not complete yet. There is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end to set you up for the next book, which is coming in July, so not too long to wait. You don't need to read anything else before reading this though.
I really enjoyed this and read it in one sitting. It's a perfect combination of sexiness, romance, humour but also emotional times as well.
I'd definitely recommend this and can't wait for the next book.
