ROYALLY MATCHED
By Emma Chase
Release Date: Feb 21, 2017

Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

Ooh! I super enjoyed this!

In the immortal words of the Bard 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them'. Poor Henry here has well and truly had greatness thrust upon him and it not handling it that well, lol. In typical royal tradition of the heir and the spare, Henry was the spare. His brother wasn't supposed to choose love over duty and he wasn't supposed to be king. Well things don't always turn out as planned and Henry is not ready for this. This is kind of proved by the fact that he signs up to a reality TV show, a royal version of the bachelor. He doesn't expect his interest to spark however in the most unexpected corner. Enter the shy, bookish Sarah.

Henry and Sarah were great. They both had their flaws but I love how they grew through the story. I love how they grew together. Sarah is quiet and shy but also pretty strong underneath and really sweet. She's had some bad stuff in the past and I was rooting for her. I enjoyed learning a softer side to Henry instead of the playboy prince persona that he showed everyone else. He surprised me a little but in a totally good way. I loved both characters and was instantly drawn into their story.

There are many laugh out loud moments in this book, but it was also sweet, emotional and romantic as well. The perfect combination. The humour was slightly more subtle and not quite as in your face as some other books I've read by this author but I enjoyed it a lot and it was very well done. The writing was sharp, the dialogue was excellent and the plot flowed along nicely. I was sucked in and read this in one sitting.

This is the second book in the series but the story does standalone. I would recommend reading the first book though as you'd definitely enjoy if you liked this.

All in all a really enjoyable read that I would definitely recommend.
