Immortal Envy (Immortal Obsession Book 1)Immortal Envy by A.D. Justice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I've read by this author but I've heard good things and I'm also a fan of paranormal so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed it.

This story follows two vampire brothers, Ramses and Slade and their obsession for for the same woman, Alea.

I enjoyed this a lot. It was well written and the plot flowed along well with action, suspense and plenty of romance.

The characters were well developed and three dimensional, even the side characters. They were complicated and had their flaws and you were pulled into their stories.

I've read a lot of paranormal and this is a pretty good effort. The story building may not be as complicated as others I've read but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes that can put off readers and I think this book would be a great start for readers wishing to dip their toes into the paranormal world but are not quite sure where to start.

This was a good thrilling read from start to finish and it left me hanging a bit for the next book in the series.

All in all a great start to a new paranormal series. I would definitely recommend.
