MY REVIEWFighting to Be Free by Kirsty Moseley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I've been looking forward to this and I've got to say I wasn't disappointed. I super enjoyed this!
This story follows Jamie, freshly out of juvenile detention, he's determined to put his past behind him and start anew. Sometimes your past doesn't want to let you go though.
Ellie has recently had a messy breakup and is not looking for anything new but not everything goes to plan.
This book is their story but they are not the problem. They have to work their way through all the baggage and problems that their pasts are throwing between them.
Their story is really well written and, even though it's a pretty meaty sized book, I did not feel that it dragged at all. There was plenty of angst and emotion plus romance as well. Jamie and Ellie are both really good characters that I instantly connected with and was invested in.
I've read and enjoyed all of Kirsty Moseley's books and it's been a while since we've had something from her. I've got to say I've missed her books. I love her writing and reading this was like catching up with an old friend.
I super enjoyed this and devoured it in one sitting. I should say that the story is not finished in this book but book two, Worth Fighting For, is coming pretty soon so not long to wait.
If you are a fan of NA romance then you can't go wrong with this and I would definitely recommend. I can't wait until the next book!
